Troubleshooting
Before calling service technician, check the following tables first. If the problem is not be solved with the suggested
procedures, contact your local dealer. For your safety, NEVER try to repair the product by yourself.

Replace fuse in mains plug.
No reception.
Is your TV plugged in?

Is the aerial connection lead broken or
damaged?
Check all aerial connections for a
damaged wires. If necessary
replace with new cables.
Possible station trouble.
Move the aerial away from areas
of possible interference. If you live in a
known poor reception area, try
using an aerial booster to improve the
quality of the signal.
Is the power for your TV off?
Press the Main Power Switch (

Adjust the colour.

Check aerial connections for broken
wires or try another station.
Remote control does not work or
operates erratically.
Weak or exhausted batteries.
Replace the batteries.
Batteries placed in the wrong way.
Check that you have put the
batteries in the remote control the
right way around.
Unable to playback video tapes.
During automatic tuning your VCR
was not switched on.
Before starting the automatic tuning
make sure that your TV is switched on
and that a tape is playing.
Unable to watch satellite stations.
During automatic tuning your
Satellite/Cable box was not
switched on.
Before starting the automatic tuning
make sure that your Satellite/Cable
box is switched on and that a channel
has been selected for example BBC
News 24.
While viewing a DVB (digital) channel,
there is sound but no picture.
Received channel has audio content
only.
Some channel offers audio content
only. It is normal.
Blocky image or image stops
intermittently.
Digital signal strength is low.
Check all aerial connections.
Move the aerial away from areas of
possible interference.
Try using an aerial booster.
