b) When installing on the room air-conditioner
In case that it cannot be installed to the wall due to
the space or material problem, install the RAC
adaptor with the two-sided tape (accessory) on the
room air-conditioner.
i)
Confirm if the piping cover of the unit can be
removed
when
performing
the
service
maintenance, and then fix the RAC adaptor in
the side of room air-conditioner with two-sided
tape. (Available at the right as well as left side)
ii) Clean the surface to be installed with a dry
cloth.
NOTE:
–
Consider the following points since the adhesiveness
changes according to the environmental conditions
(temperature, humidity etc)
–
The adhesiveness is decreased when there is humidity
or oil.
–
Warm the adhesive part and installation place of the
two-sided tape to avoid the decrease of the
adhesiveness in case the ambient temperature is low.
–
DO NOT touch the adhesive part by fingers nor re-
attach it many times. The adhesiveness has decreased
and the RAC adaptor may fall off.
–
DO NOT apply any force within 24 hours after
installation.
