Holding a Single Call
Using a hold
loop...
To hold a single call using a hold loop:
1
Press a hold loop (HLD1-HLD4) to place an active
call on hold.
The hold loop winks, and the associated hold loop
displays the held call.
2
Press the winking hold loop to retrieve the call.
Fixed and
additional hold
loops
Each SelecSet 500A terminal is equipped with four fixed
hold loops (HLD1-HLD4). However, you can assign up to
four additional hold loops (HLD5-HLD8) to your
programmable keys. The first four hold loops are used in
the examples in this guide because they have
corresponding displays. Additional hold loops function in
the same way, but do not have displays.
