NOTE: when using the right/left cursor buttons to enter a date,
reaching the last day of a calender month will increase (or
decrease, depending on which way you are adjusting the day
value) the month value by one.This is also true of the year.
For example 31-01-01 + = 01-02-01
Once RECORD EVENT is complete, accept

PLEASE NOTE: To record a programme from the TV without programming a record
event, put the TV into ‘Active Standby’. You do this by pressing the Standby key,
followed by the AV key within 3 seconds. The TV will then switch off and the green light
on the front of the TV will come on showing that the TV is in ‘Active Standby’. In this mode, the
digital receiver is still operating, allowing you to record the current programme via AV1. Please
remember that this mode uses more power than full standby, and is not recommended for
long term use.
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT FORGET TO SET THE TIMER ON YOUR VIDEO. If your video uses
Video Link then the TV will automatically turn on the VCR for you. Check your VCR manual for
details on this.
