could take up to 2 hours if the local PBS station is on a high numbered
channel in your area or on your cable system. You may want to start this
channel search at night when the unit is not in use.
If the time that is automatically set by this selected PBS station is incorrect, it
may not be your local PBS station, but one from a different time zone. Or
there is a possibility that no channel in your area is broadcasting the XDS
signal, as evidenced by no time being set even after an overnight search. In
these cases, you must manually enter the correct local PBS station, or set the
clock manually and turn off the Auto Clock Setting Feature.
MANUAL CLOCK SETTING
Make sure...
• You must use the remote control for the following steps.
• Power must be turned on.
In the example below, the clock is to be set to:

1 Select "SETTING CLOCK"
Press MENU button repeatedly to point to "SETTING CLOCK". Then, press
SELECT button.
2 Select "MANUAL CLOCK SET"
Press MENU button repeatedly to point to "MANUAL CLOCK SET".
Then, press SELECT button.
3 Select the month
Press CH
or
button repeatedly until your desired month appears.
(Example: "03" for March)
Then, press SELECT button.
4 Select the day
Press CH
or
button repeatedly until your desired day appears.
(Example: "01" for 1st)
Then, press SELECT button.
