RANGE Selector Switch: This switch selects the factor to be multiplied to 

                        the measured value shown with the indicating meter. 
                        The CAL position is used for calibration. For details of the   
                        calibration procedures, see 5. PREPARATION FOR A 
                        MEASUREMENT. 
       

  ALARM Level Setting Knob: This knob is provided only when the optional 

                      AL-8000 alarm device is installed. The trigger level for the alarm   
                      can be adjusted with this knob.   
       

 

ALARM Indicator: This indicator is provided only when the optional   

                      AL-8000 alarm device is installed.   
                      When the measured insulation resistance is lower than the trigger
