Reducing the Noise (FILTER)
WARNING
To avoid electric shock or other personal injury, select
the appropriate passband setting when measuring the
AC voltage. If an inappropriate frequency is selected, the
measured value displayed will not be correct.
The in
fl
uence of high-frequency noise can be reduced with the low
pass
fi
lter (digital
fi
lter).
This function can be used when measuring the AC voltage, AC and
DC voltage automatic judgment, AC current, and clamp AC current.
The passband setting for the low pass
fi
lter can be selected.

Each time
is pressed while the
current FILTER setting is displayed, the
passband setting is changed.

• When the desired passband setting is displayed for 2 seconds,
the setting is applied and then the measurement display
reappears.
• If the FILTER setting is changed, the relative value function
(REL) will be canceled.
