2.5 Continuity Check
• Never apply voltage to the test leads
when the Continuity check function is
selected. Doing so may damage the
product and result in personal injury.
• To avoid electrical accidents, remove
power from the circuit before measuring.
1.
Move the function selector to
the

position.
2.
Select Continuity check func-
tion (
) using the SHIFT
button ( lights up).
3.
Connect the test leads to the
measurement object.
When the continuity (thresh-
old: 45±35
Ω
or less) is estab-
lished, the beeping sounds
and the resistance is dis-
played (fixed to the 420-
Ω
range).
