Brass bushings

The brass bushings allow a fluid ro-
tational movement of the gearmotor
support. To prevent the base is locked
in a position without the possibility of
movement, is important that the brass
bushings are in good condition and
clean. In case of excessive wear it is nec-
essary to proceed with the replacement.

Brass bushings replacement:
Procedure:
•
Put the machine in safe conditions.
•
Lower the brush deck to the ground
•
Loosen the screws that fix the arms
to the brush deck
•
Remove the recovery tank and the
solution tank by releasing the lock-
ing levers.
•
Unscrew the screws between the
gearmotor support and the frame,
and remove the bushings.
•
Proceed to the reverse operations to
reassemble it all, sprinkle the new
bushings with lubricating grease be-
fore mounting.

Scrubdeck Body
Check

)
The brush base must be kept clean
and intact.
A ruined brush base may
be dangerous to the machine and the
operator that uses it.
If necessary, replace it.

Brush retainer Bell
Check

The brush retainer Bell must be intact
and kept clean in order to maintain the
brush in the correct position.
If necessary, replace it.
