Leg Spreader Malfunction
1. Set the caster brakes.
2. Remove the two hex head bolts (A) and two flatwashers (B) securing the
base cover (C) to the back support subassembly (D) (see figure 2-1 on page
2-10).

3. Remove the base cover (C) from the back support subassembly (D).
4. Inspect the spreader shaft subassembly (A) (see figure 2-2 on page 2-11).
