Chapter 7 Maintenance
7.1 Restore Default
Step 1
Go to Maintenance.
Step 2
Select restoring type.
Simple Restore: Restore all parameters, except the network (including IP address, subnet mask,
gateway, MTU, NIC working mode, default route, server port, etc.) and user account
parameters, to the factory default settings.
Factory Defaults: Restore all parameters to the factory default settings.
Step 3
Click Yes to restore the default settings. Video recorder will reboot automatically after
restoring to the default settings.
7.2 Search Log
Purpose
The operation, alarm, exception and information of video recorder can be stored in logs, which
can be viewed and exported at any time.
Step 1
Go to Maintenance > More Operations.
Step 2
Set the search conditions.
Step 3
Click Search.
Up to 2000 log files can be displayed each time.
7.3 Upgrade
Do not shutdown the video recorder or turn off the power during upgrade.
7.3.1 Local Upgrade
Before you start
Connect a backup device where the update firmware file locates to your video recorder.
