Adjust Sensitivity. Sensitivity: Range [0-100]. The higher the value is, the more easily the
detection alarm can be triggered.

Set the arming schedule. Refer to 6.4.3 Configure Arming Schedule.

Region Exiting Detection
Purpose
Region exiting detection function detects people, vehicle or other objects which exit from a
pre-defined virtual region, and some certain actions can be taken when the alarm is triggered.
Step 1
Go to Configuration > Event > Smart Event > Region Exiting.
Step 2
Select Camera to configure.
Step 3
Check Enable Region Exiting Detection.
Step 4
Optionally, check Save VCA Picture to save the captured pictures of VCA detection.
Step 5
Set the detection rules and detection areas.

Select Arming Area. Up to 4 arming areas are selectable.

Click Draw Area and draw a quadrilateral in the preview window by specifying four vertexes of
the detection region.

Loitering Detection
Purpose
Loitering detection function detects people, vehicle or other objects which loiter in a pre-defined
virtual region for some certain time, and a series of actions can be taken when the alarm is
triggered.

Go to Configuration > Event > Smart Event > Loitering.

Select Camera to configure.
Step 3
Check Enable Loitering Detection.
Step 4
Optionally, check Save VCA Picture to save the captured pictures of VCA detection.
