Quick Operation Guide of DS-6600HFHI (/L) Series HD Audio/Video Encoder

Access to DS-6600 by WEB Browser
The DS-6600HFHI (/L) can also be accessed by WEB Browser for configuration and operation.
The supported WEB browsers include: Internet Explorer 6/7/8/9, Firefox 3.5 and above, Chrome 8 and above,
Safari 5.0.2 and above, Windows XP SP1 and above (32-bit).
Open WEB browser, input the IP address of DS-6600HFHI (/L) (e.g., http://192.0.0.64) and then press the
Enter
key on PC. The system then will display the login interface:
Input the user name (default: admin) and password (default: 12345) to log into the system.
Configuring Video Settings
Steps:
1.
Click
Remote Configuration >
Camera Settings >Video Settings
to enter the Video Settings interface:

Select the
Front Input Type
to SDI, HDMI, YPbPr, OPT or VGA according to the video input interface
connected with camera.
The
Video Input Resolution
refers to the resolution of input video connected to the DS-6600HFHI, and it is
not configurable.
3.
Select the
Encoding Parameter
of the camera to Main Stream (Normal), Main Stream (Event) or Sub
Stream.
The main stream is usually for recording and live viewing with good bandwidth, and the sub stream can be
used for live viewing when the bandwidth is low.
