FUNCTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
INTERCONNECTION EXAMPLE
FULL mode: subwoofer operation in full range mode
FULL RANGE MODE
The FULL mode is only meaningful with a subwoofer, if your head unit is equipped with an separate suwboofer lineout and the audiosignal
is already modfied by the head unit filters like lowpass, subsonic and phase. In the FULL mode the filter functions of the amplifier wil be
bypassed and this avoids a additional filter modification of the audio signal, because the signal of the head unit is already modified. Refer
to the operation manual of your headunit.
INTERCONNECTION
• Connect the RCA SUB OUT of the head unit with the RCA jacks LINE IN of the amplifier with appropriate high-value RCA cables.
• Connect the subwoofer with the speaker outputs (SPEAKER / -) by using appropriate wires.
• Please ensure that the total impedance load of subwoofer is not lower than 1 ohm.
Too low impedance cause high temperature and will shut down the amplifier operation.
• Always ensure the correct polarity of the speakers. The interchange of plus and minus cause total loss of bass playback and could
damage the speakers.
MODE SWITCH
• The MODE switch must be in position FULL.
LEVEL CONTROLLER
• Turn the LEVEL controller of the amplifier to the MIN position.
• Turn the volume controller of the head unit to 80 - 90% of its full setting.
• Turn the LEVEL controller clockwise until you hear some distortion.
• Then turn back the LEVEL controller slightly until you hear a cleaner sound.
EXTENDED BASS CONTROL
• The SUB BOOST controller adjusts the bass enhancement between 0db and +18dB.
• A too high bass boost may cause clipping/distortion and damage on the loudspeakers and also may harm your hearing abilities.
Use this controller carefully!
Refer for further information (EXTENDED BASS CONTROL) to page 20 (Section #4).
LOW PASS CONTROLLER
• The LP controller is without function in this operation mode.
SUB SONIC CONTROLLER
• The SUB SONIC controller is without function in this operation mode.
PHASE CONTROLLER
• The PHASE controller is without function in this operation mode.
BASS REMOTE
• The enclosed BASS REMOTE Controller is without function in this operation mode.

Connect stereo RCA output (R/L or SUB OUT)
of the head unit with LINE IN R/L of the amplifier
An additional subwoo-
fer can be connected to the
non-occupied speaker out-
puts. In this case ensure
a impedance of 2 - 8 ohms
per subwoofer.
