Control panel

The control panel is located on the upper cover of the unit and has been provided with four indicator
lamps and one regulating rotary knob to switch the unit on and off, and to set the degree of humidity.
Under each indicator lamp, the function is described in brief.

Switching the unit on (controller A)

Use the regulating rotary knob (A) to set the requested humidity in the room. The degree of air
moisture removal will rise with increasing number. This means that in case of number 1 a degree of
moisture removal of about 95 per cent is achieved (always depending on the ambient conditions !), in
case of number 5 a relative humdity of about 35 per cent can be achieved, and in case of Cont.
(continuous) the unit removes moisture without shutdown by the hygrostat.
Position

„OFF”

means that the contact of the humidity meter is open and thus the device does not work.

Attention! With the mains plug being connected, electric components of the device will keep being under
voltage.

Tank display (FULL B)

Green light “FULL”: When this light is switched on, the unit comes to a standstill because the tank with
the condensation water is full or the tank has not been placed properly.

Power indicator (Power C)

Red light “POWER”: This light indicates that the plug has been connected up to the electric circuit and
the unit is supplied with electricity.

Operation (Running D)

Red light “RUNNING”: This light goes on when the hygrometer releases the operation of the
dehumidifier; when the lamps “PAUSE” and “FULL” are switched off, the compressor is in operation.

Display (Pause E) “BREAK”

Red light “PAUSE” indicates that the compressor is ready for operation; this occurs after every start-up
(for the protection of the compressor) and during the thawing which is done cyclically. Depending on
the ambient temperature this break may last up to 5 minutes.

5.1. What to do if the air humidifier does not switch on or if it does not dehumidify?

First make sure that the red indicator lamp “

POWER

” is switched on. That way it is ensured that power is

supplied to the device. Otherwise it can be checked whether the plug is correctly inserted and whether
the socket is really supplied with power.

Check to see that the indicator lamp

„FULL”

is not lit. If this is not the case, check whether the

container is fit correctly, perhaps removing and placing it again until hearing the click of the micro
switch. If and when necessary, empty the container !!

Check whether the red indicator lamp “RUNNING” is lit which means that the hygrometer (hygrostat A)
requests start-up. If the unit switches on again after a break because perhaps the request humdity has
been reached or the tank has been emptied, the red light for “PAUSE” is lit in addition to the central red
lamp. During this phase which lasts about 5 minutes, the fan is operational only whereby the compressor
is at a standstill. This cycle will repeat about every 45 minutes in order to enable the evaporator to
defrost. When the unit is in operation (the two middle red lamps are lit) but no water or little water only is
released, check whether the relative humdity of the room is less than 40 to 45 per cent.
