2. Mechanical maintenance - procedure
Before any maintenance on a clenaer you must be sure taht no power supply is
connected to prevent from any injury.
A - Change of consumable: motricity - drive
•To put the caterpillar in position to leave it (part without barb at the entry of throat of the plastic shoe)
•To draw on the caterpillar towards outside and to make turn owe the hand the roller to completely leave the
caterpillar from the plastic shoe
•To make leave the caterpillar of the throat of the roller while drawing above.
•To make leave each belt the throat pulley engine. To facilitate this operation: to use a screwdriver and to
make turn handly the roller taken by the belt.
•To leave the axis roller while drawing towards outside and to exploit the flexibility of the frame to leave the
axis on a side. To leave the other side then
•To withdraw the rollers of the axis
•To dismount the plastic shoe on outside and to exploit the flexibility of the frame to make pass the caterpillar
You can now change the whole or part of consumable necessary.
To follow the procedure in the other direction for the reassembly. Made attention with controlling the presence
of the ring, that the belts do not cross with the reassembly.
In the event of change of belts a 30 minutes grinding in water in radio control is necessary before launching
the automatic.
B -
Change of consumable:
brushes - foam
To follow the previous procedure to reach the rollers.
To withdraw the brushes PVC or foam PVA presents while cutting them to the cutter or while leaving them the
roller (extensible parts)
To position back the new handset of brush PVC - foam PVA.
For brushes PVC, it is necessary to stick the first and the last on the roller with glue type cyanoacrylate (to
review 4 gluing spot with 90°)
For foams PVA, it is necessary to drill: (4 rivets for DC0033 and 2 for DC0034)
•
To drill foam in reverse turn then to drill the roller with a drill of diameter 6.5mm (if roller not bored yet)
• To insert the rivets forces some by taking guard to hear well the positioning of the rivets (click)
• To finish the installation of the rivet by exerting a pressure using a tool like the handle of a large screwdriver.
C - Revision of pump
The revision pump consists in carrying out a standard exchange of your pump by another provided by
Hexagone or one of its approved distributors.
In no case, a revision exerted by your care could be regarded as a revision of manufacturer and will cancel in
fact all warrabnty of your appliance.
•To withdraw the ring of closing of hood
•To remove the hood and the plate of filtration
•To unhook the pump on the level of the spring placed on the intermediate flange of the pump.
•To withdraw the pump of its housing and to unscrew the plug located at the back of the pump (manual
operation)
