Scope of delivery
LED KIT VS.02 Basic type with pre-assembled mounting adapter
consisting of:
Carrier plate
(T)
Galvanised sheet steel with 4 x self-tapping screws 3 x 12mm (KS)
Preparation
• If the mounting adapter was not ordered pre-
assembled on the LED KIT, screw the carrier plate
to the base part of the LED KIT using the 4 enclosed
self-tapping screws (TX10 drive). First insert the con-
necting cable through the opening.
Note:
Carefully tighten the screws until the LED KIT
on the carrier plate can still be turned in its angular
position for later alignment.
• Align base plate (

) flush with the carrier plate, feed
the connecting cable through the cable gland and
tighten.
• If not already pre-assembled, clamp the WIELAND
plug (if supplied) to the connecting cable of the LED
KIT.

Disconnect the luminaire from the mains, open
it, loosen the existing device carrier (
GT
), disconnect
and remove it. Keep the 2 fastening screws (
M6
) for
later assembly of the LED KIT.
Note:
Depending on the configuration ordered, remo-
ve the device plug from the existing device carrier for
re-use if necessary.
• Existing light control elements such as fan mirrors,
perforated plates and refractors should usually be
removed. This task is performed by the light control
optics integrated in the LED KIT.
• Clean luminaires outside and inside and check tech-
nical condition. Replace worn seals.
• Set the rotary switch on the LED KIT to the desired
dimming profile (see assembly instructions for LED
KIT).

Note
The base plate and carrier plate can be attached to
each other with cable ties in the as-delivered condi-
tion to secure them during transport.
