“PROFESSIONAL”, “HIGHPOWER” equipment package
For automatic dimming of the luminaire during the late night
hours, you can select from 16 predefined dimming programs
on rotary switch “A” of the LED KIT. Here the “V”
value identifies the start of dimming in the hours
before midnight and the “N” value identifies the
return to non-dimmed operation in the hours after
midnight. When dimmed, the electric power con-
sumption is reduced to around 35% and the lumi-
nous flux to around 40%. Example: Position “8” means that
the luminaire is automatically dimmed between approx. 11
pm and 6 am. In switch position “1”, version VS.02 lights up
with 100% as long as 0V is present at its PSt input. But if 230V
is applied to the PSt input, it switches to dimming mode. The
switch position “2” causes permanent dimming with version
VS27 or the opposite logic with VS02. In pos. “15”, the LED KIT
executes “Flash” mode in which the light intensity changes
between 30% and 100% in a cycle of 1s to 2s. Flash operation
is intended in particular for attention-raising illumination of
danger zones. (Please avoid disturbing local residents!)

The LED KIT is basically suitable for use in systems where
dimming is controlled by reducing voltage and/or varying
frequency and works independently of the voltage/frequency
conditions with a constant light output. We would recommend
investigating suitability for use on a case by case basis.
