surface.
1.13
In order to minimise the risk of a battery
explosion, please follow these instructions,

Note:
Do not use the Reanimator with
batteries which cannot be recharged.
Only use the Reanimator with recharge-
able lead acid batteries. Do
not use with
dry cell batteries, such as those often
used in household appliances. Such
batteries may burst and thereby cause
physical injury or material damage.
2. Personal safety precautions
WARNiNG
Risk of explosive gases
Sparks in the vicinity of a battery
can cause it to explode
To reduce the risk of sparks developing
in the vicinity of the battery:
2.1
NEVER smoke near a battery or an en-
gine or cause sparks or start a fire.
2.2
Please remove all personal effects made
from metal, such as rings, bracelets, neck-
laces and wristwatches, when working with a
lead acid battery. A lead acid battery can gen-
erate a short circuit that is sufficiently power-
ful to weld a ring or similar metallic object,
which can cause serious burn injuries.
2.3
Exercise particular caution to prevent
metallic objects from falling onto the battery.
These may cause sparks or short the battery
or other electrical components and trigger
an explosion.
2.4
To prevent sparks, ensure that the bat-
tery poles NEVER touch each other or come
into contact with the same metallic object.
2.5
Ask another person to remain near you
whilst you are working in the vicinity of
