The crimping process can be interrupted at any
moment by releasing the operating switch.
7. Maintenance
WARNING
Do not damage the seals of the tool.
The electro-hydraulic Battery Hand Crimping Tool has to be
cleaned and dried after use. The tool is basically maintenance-
free, only the bolt joints at the crimping head have to be oiled
regularly. After one year we are recommend to send the tool
back to the manufacturer for inspection. Within the intended use
only the adapter and die sets are permitted to be changed by
the user.
If the seals are damaged the warranty is invalidated.
8. Storage and Transport
In order to protect the electro-hydraulic Battery Hand Crimping
Tool against damages it has to be cleaned carefully after eve-
ry use and be put into the transportation case which has to be
closed safely.
Besides the electro-hydraulic Battery Hand Crimping Tool, the
tool case also contains the charging unit, the adapters and die-
sets and the operating instruction.
9. Removing from Service/Disposal
WARNING
Hydraulic oils represent a danger for the ground-water.
Uncontrolled draining of or improper disposal is under
penalty. (Environmental liability law)
After intensive use even a high-quality tool finally has to be put
off action. The disposal of the various components of the tool
has to be treated separately. Doing that the first step is to dis-
pose of the oil at special delivery points.
Next, the defect battery cartridge has to be specially disposed of
according to the EEC Battery Guideline. The remaining parts of
the tool must be disposed of according to the domestic environ-
mental standards. Because of possible environmental damages
we recommend to dispose of the tool by
professional companies. A return of the old tool free of charge to
the manufacturer cannot be granted.
10. Warrantly
WARNING
Do not damage the seals of the tool.
If the tool is operated according to its designed use and the
regular maintenance services are observed our warranty is 12
months from the time of delivery. Worn-out parts resulting from
its intended use are excluded. We reserve the right to rework the
tool in case of a justified warranty claim.
