In cases of a machine malfunction, production must  
be stopped and the malfunction must be fixed before 
continuing work with the tool.

 

When working with the electro-hydraulic Battery Hand 
Crimping Tool, do not wear loose clothing, jewellery or 
long, loose hair that can get caught in the electro-hydraulic 
Battery Hand Crimping Tool.

 

The electro-hydraulic Battery Hand Crimping Tool 
should not be operated in pouring rain or under water.

 

Do not crimp on live cables or conductors

 

Too intensive use can cause heat damages for the tool

 

Pull the plug of the charging unit after charging.

 

The charging of the batteries must only be made with 
generic chargers. (Time of loading: 15 minutes)

 

By nonuse of the battery outside the tool the red cover 
has to be put on it.

 

Do not use the cord to transport the charging unit or 
to pull the plug out of a wall socket with force.

 

Do not insert strange parts into the ducts of the  
charging unit.

 

Do not disassemble the charging unit or battery.

 

No other batteries e.g. dry batteries or car batteries etc. 
are permitted to be used neither in the tool nor in the 
charging unit.

 

Do not place the battery in your pocket or in your toolbox 
if there are any conductive materials in it such as coins, 
keys, tools or other metallic parts.

2.3 Responsibilities

The electro-hydraulic Battery Hand Crimping Tool may only be 
operated by suitably trained and authorized personnel. The user 
must clearly define and observe the responsibilities of the per-
sonnel for operation, set-up, maintenance and service.
Should the user make any changes to the machine without con-
sulting the manufacturers or the suppliers, the latter will not be 
liable for any damage that may result.

The electro-hydraulic Battery Hand Crimping Tool is designed for 
use with the adapter and die sets. The adapters should only be 
used with the dies specified by Herth+Buss.
