FORBIDDEN USE
The pressure washer is not intended to be filled with:
y
Flammables
, e.g. for the purpose of degreasing
surfaces or dissolving layers soluble in organic sol-
vents because this creates a flammable mist igniti-
on hazard.
y
Water containing corrosive compounds
such as
acids
- which are for example cleaning products
containing phosphoric or citric acid used for remo-
ving limescale;
lyes and alkalines
, which are for
example cleaning products containing ammonia
or amines for the purpose of removing black sul-
phides and coloured oxides - patinas that form
coatings of metals;
oxidising compounds
, which
are for example disinfecting bleaching solutions
of hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, (e.g.
SAVO), potassium permanganate, etc.;
y
Foodstuffs
(e.g. milk, wine, etc.) and
thick liquids
such as oil for the purpose of the application.
The
pressure washer must not be used as a spray
gun for the purpose of applying liquid materials.

Water containing abrasive compounds
, e.g. solu-
tion of cleaning liquid sand in water;
y
Water containing fine rust sludge from the
water mains, mud from other water sources,
etc., that passes through the filtration screen at
the inlet to the pressure washer; water contai-
ning mechanical particles that cannot be remo-
ved by the filtration screen at the water inlet to
the pressure cleaner may not be used.

Water containing mechanical particles
, e.g. sand.
At entry to the pressure washer, the mechanical par-
ticles in the water must be removed by the screen.
VII. Safety instructions
and warnings for with
the pressure washer

When working with the pressure washer, use water-
-resistant protective aids, which concurrently provide
protection against the pressurised water, i.e. rubber
gloves, footwear, apron or body suit, safety glasses or
better yet a face shield and when staying in the direct
vicinity of the pressure washer use certified hearing pro-
tection with a sufficient level of protection. Likewise, we
recommend that you use a respirator as protection aga-
inst the inhalation of aerosols when applying a deter-
gent solution as inhalation is not good for your health.
Do not use the pressure washer in the vicinity of other
people if they do not have protective clothing.

cleaning agent supplied or recommended by the manu-
facturer. Using different cleaning agents or chemicals
