is approximately 2-6 mm of grip rotation.

Slide the boot (2), loosen the lock nut (3) and
turn the adjuster (4).

(ii) Start of the vehicle within free play or no
engine “OFF” condition in idling.
For situations (i) & (ii), follow the steps
below:
i3s THROTTLE SWITCH ADJUSTMENT
•
Check the painted groove (highlighted red
line (1)) available on i3s switch plunger (2)
(outer surface of i3s switch body (3)).
While starting the vehicle with i3s switch
“ON” condition and by rotating throttle grip
inspect the following:
(i) Start of the vehicle with more travel of
throttle.
If any of the above situations arises then
adjustment should be made on the i3s adjuster
as per below steps.
•
Park the vehicle on its main stand.
•
First, adjust the throttle free play
(page 65)

Free play to be maintained in
0-3 mm
.
•
Check i3s functionality if found not OK
follow the further instructions.
•
Remove the right floor side panel
(page 46)
.
•
Open the throttle fully.
•
Black painted groove (4) should be visible
on the plunger and no visibility of red
groove (1) implies that condition is OK.
