8. Installation and Operation
1. Connect the power cord
(Fig. 1/E)
to the
power supply
(Fig. 1/G)
2. Plug the power cord
(Fig. 1/F)
into the
socket on the back of the device
(Fig. 1/D)
3. Plug the power cord into an electrical
outlet
4. On the upper part of the control panel,
the On/Off button
(Fig. 2/A)
glows blue.
(Fig. 3/A)
5. Touch the On/Off button to turn the unit
on. Additional controls appear. During the
UV lamp's warm-up phase, the status
indicator
(Fig. 2/D)
on the control panel
turns green
(Fig. 3/B)
and slowly turns to
blue. After about five seconds, the device
is ready for use and the control panel now
glows blue
(Fig. 3/C)
.
6. The status indicator glows blue during
operation to indicate that the device is
functioning properly
(Fig. 3/C)
.
7. By twisting the fan speed control several
times
(Fig. 2/F)
, you can adjust the fan
speed. A total of 4 levels are available
(Fig. 2/E and 3/A).
8. The device is now in continuous
operation.
9. If you only want a temporary operation,
you can activate the operating time by
turning the timer control
(Fig. 2/B).
Three
operating times are available: 1 h, 4 h, 8 h.

After the operating time has
elapsed, the device switches off
automatically.

1. The status indicator
(Fig. 2/D)
is yellow
(Fig. 3/D)
: The operating time of the
UV lamp has reached 11500 hours and is
approaching its end. You should order a
new UV lamp immediately.
2. The status indicator
(Fig. 2/D)
glows
purple
(Fig. 3/E)
:
The operating time of the UV lamp has
reached 12000 hours and needs to be
replaced. The UV-C dose of the lamp is
not guaranteed after this operating time
has elapsed. The disinfection perfomance
is decreasing.
3. The status indicator
(Fig. 2/D)
glows red
(Fig. 3/F)
: There is a fault.
a. The status indicator flashes at
3-second intervals: There is a problem
with the UV lamp.
b. The status indicator flashes at 1-second
intervals: There is a problem with the fan.
c. The status indicator glows constantly
red: The device is overheated.
4. The control panel is completely black:
you have opened the top lid during
operation. The device has completely
switched off for safety reasons.

10. Replacement of the UV Lamp
Warning!
UV-C light is harmful to eyes and skin! Even
small amounts can cause damage to the
skin and eyes! Therefore, always disconnect
the device from electrical power before
starting work on the UV lamp! If the UV
lamp has reached the end of its life or is
defective, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the power cord from the
power outlet and from the device.
