4.1 Maintenance
Before any maintenance or installation work or before opening the terminal
compartment, the device must be fully isolated from the power supply.
The fan must be inspected annually by the installer and cleaned if necessary. For
this purpose, the motor-impeller unit must be disassembled and cleaned with a
cleaning solution (water and soap). The ventilation lines and the supply air and
extract air valves must also be inspected. Ensure that the valves are not exchan-
ged for one another and that the settings are not changed.
The fan is equipped with an electronically commutated direct current motor.
This has a permanent magnet and runs a bit “jolty” when turned by hand, as the
magnets fix the rotor at specific points. This is not a bearing problem.
Excessive deposit of dirt, dust, grease and other materials on the impeller, motor
and safety grille especially between casing and impeller must be avoided and has
to be prevented by periodical cleaning. If the fan is used for important functions,
servicing is necessary every 6 months, and before re-commissioning in case of
standstill for a longer period of time.

Correct disposal of this product
(electrical waste)
The labelling on the product and the accompanying literature indicates that it must not be disposed of
with normal household waste at the end of its service life. Please dispose of this unit separately from
other waste to prevent damage to the environment and human health through uncontrolled waste
disposal. Recycle the unit for sustainable reutilisation.
Private users should contact the dealer from which the product was purchased, or the responsible
authorities, to find out how the unit can be recycled in an environmentally safe way.
Commercial users should contact their suppliers and consult the conditions of the purchase contract.
This product must not be disposed of with other commercial waste.
