3 .0 Service and maintenance
m
The unit must be fully isolated from the power supplybefore all maintenance and installation work or before
opening the terminal compartment! Risk of electric shock, moving parts (fans) and hot surfaces!
– Allow the unit to cool down or wait for five minutes until the fans have turned off .
– Risk of electric shock, moving parts (fans) and hot surfaces .
3 .1 Enthalpy heat exchanger
Open and remove both upper snap-in hooks on the front cover.
Pull the terminal strip of the heat exchanger forward (Fig.27).
Then carefully remove the enthalpy heat exchanger from the unit (Fig.28).
Brush the blades with a single nozzle and a vacuum cleaner to clean the exchanger.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products!
When installing, insert the enthalpy heat exchanger into the guide rails and slide in up to the stop. Ensure that the rub-
ber lips are not damaged by mounting! Then re-insert terminal strip.

In order to change the filters, open and remove both upper snap-in hooks on front cover. Then remove the outside air
and extract air filter from the metal rails (Fig. 29/30).
When using F7 filters/activated carbon filters, pay attention on air flow direction arrows on the filter labels! The
air flow direction is shown on the unit label (Fig .29) .
