Installation and Operating Instructions
4.3 Condensation outlet in the unit
In connection with maintenance, make sure that the condensation outlet in the bottom reservoir is not clogged (section
2.2). You may check it by pouring a little water into the reservoir.
Do not let water flow into electrical parts!
4.4 Access to internal terminal box
The side inspection opening (Fig.24) for the internal terminal box guarantees free access to the electronic components
(battery, fuse or DIP switch settings (Fig.25)). The power unit is completely interchangeable! The inspection opening is
located on the outer left side on right-hand units, on the outer right side on left-hand units.
4.5 Removal of EPS inner shell
1. In order to remove the EPS inner shell (with motor and heat exchanger unit), the front frame must be removed from
the housing. For this purpose, loosen screws (6x) and remove front frame (Fig.26 and 27).
2. Before removing the inner shell, the ball siphon must be dismantled!
In this respect, observe point 2.2 “Conden-
sation outlet”! When dismantling the siphon, proceed as described in reverse order.
3.Using the heat exchanger guide rails, remove the EPS inner shell from the metal housing (Fig. 28). Care must be taken
when pulling the connection cables.
Do not pull on the front edges of the shell, as these can break!
Disconnect connectors and remove shell (Fig.29).
