– Event control (fast humidity increase)
In case of a fast humidity increase (e.g. caused by showering, bathing), the fan will be activated before the set acti-
vation threshold is reached, so that the excessive humidity in the room can be removed as effectively as possible
and the comfort zone in the room can be restored quickly.
When the deactivation threshold is reached, the fan will deactivate after the set overrun time. The deactivation threshold
is set at 10 % below the activation threshold.
3. Runtime limitation
In cases with permanent humidity (if the relative humidity of the inflowing air is already above the set activation thres-
hold, or if there is wet laundry in the room permanently, or inadequate air exchange due to air vent openings which are
too small or blocked), the fan will automatically deactivate after 2 hours. During the stopping time, any humidity mea-
surement is ignored. The required ventilation can still be activated. By activating the required ventilation, the stopping
time will expire.
There are two possible stopping times:
Short stopping time:
The humidity has fallen below the set activation threshold after two hours, but the deactivation threshold has not yet
been reached. The fan will deactivate and there will be a short stopping time of one hour.
Background:
There was a reduction of humidity during fan operation. However, the reduction was not enough to fall below
the deactivation threshold. A short stopping time will activate, because it is assumed that the humidity can still be ef-
fectively reduced after a short break.
Long stopping time:
The humidity is not below the set activation threshold after two hours. The fan will be deactivated and there will be a
long stopping time of six hours.
Background:
As the humidity value did not fall below the set activation threshold, it can be assumed that further dehumi-
dification is pointless.
4. Hygrostat function
The control switches like an “intelligent” hygrostat. The humidity operation is identical, but there is no deactivation due
to runtime limitation, provided the deactivation threshold has not been reached.
5. Activation delay
The fan only activates after the set delay time (0, 45, 90, 120 sec.). Thus a room can be entered in case of activation
together with the light, without the fan going into operation. The activation delay is only implemented when the fan is
at a standstill. When switching between running stages, the applicable activation delay is ignored. In case of the simul-
taneous activation of both stages, the activation delay will also be ignored.
6. Push-button operation
If an activation delay is not activated, both fan stages can be controlled with a push-button. For this purpose, the time
function must be activated on the respective stage. The push-button must be pressed for longer than 0.5 sec. If a stage
has been activated with the push-button, the corresponding stage will automatically deactivate after the overrun time.
