Electronic transformer

Congratulations on your purchase of our transformer.
The transformer is especially well-suited for use in halogen lamp systems, e.g. surface-mounted lights, tube und
track systems, suspended lights, etc. The transformer uses "Soft Start", which generates a steadily increasing
current when the device is switched on.
An electronic protective circuit switches the transformer off in the event of a short circuit or overload in the
secondary circuit and when the transformer is idle. When the malfunction has been corrected, the transformer is
ready for operation again. Use the transformer only in protected and dry interior rooms.
Please read these installation and operating instructions carefully and store them for future reference.

Safety information and warnings:
Make sure the electrical specifications for the connection lines in your building correspond with the
specifications given on the nameplate of this transformer.
Carefully remove the transformer from its packaging.
Before starting to use this transformer, make sure it has not been damaged during transport. Never use
the transformer if it shows any damage on its electrical components. All repairs must be performed by a
trained electrician only.
Never open the transformer housing.
Keep packaging material away from the reach of children and pets. The packaging contains small parts
that may be swallowed by children.
Never leave children unattended in the vicinity of the lights and do not allow them to play with electrical
devices.
Maintenance and care:
Prior to cleaning the light, make sure it has been disconnected form the power supply.
Use a dry or slightly moistened cloth for cleaning.
Never use any chemicals, flammable cleaning agents or abrasives. These may cause damage to the
surface coating and/or the insulators of the transformer.
Disposal:
Used electronic devices must be collected for recycling and must never be disposed off with regular
household garbage.
