USING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn the heater to the “OFF” position before plugging in.
2. The operating temperature is selected by a combination of the heater switches and
thermostat. The hottest setting will be when the heater switches are both on and the thermostat
is turned to “Maximum”.
3. To determine the correct working temperature for your conditions, turn the heater to “High”
and the thermostat to “Maximum” when the room has reached the required temperature turn
the thermostat slowly to the left until the temperature is off. The temperature will now be kept
constant.
4. If you want to lower the operating temperature select the one of the heater switch only and
repeat the above procedure.
5. The heater is fitted with an automatic cutout in the event that it overheats. if is this activates,
turn the heater to the off position and unplug. Allow the heater to cool and remove anything
restricting the airflow before using the heater again. If the automatic cut out operates repeatedly
contact a quantified electrician for advice.
NOTES
For maximum benefit, closing windows and door when the heater is open
Do not cover the ventilation holes as this will cause overheating and will activate the cut out.
USING THE TURBO(WHEN FITTED)
This is operated by means of the switch with the fan symbol along side it. The fan will only
operate with the thermostat in the
“
ON
”
position and can be used when the heating elements
are
“
ON
”
to blow warm are into the room. In warm conditions the fan can be used with the
heating
Elements
“
OFF
”
to blow cool air into the room.
Using the Timer(where fitted)
1.Set the timer by moving the disc so that the point on the timer is the same sa the time. For
example at 1000hrs(100
’
clock) set the disc to the number 10.
2. Position the side switch to the central position (
)
3. Set the periods of time that you want the radiator to work each day by pulling the outer teeth
forward. Each tooth represents 15 minutes.
4.To reset the programming,move the teeth back to the original position before repeating step 3.
5. If the heater is required to run continuously, set the side switch on the timer to the position
indicated by I
6. If you do to wish to use the heater function but want the timer to continue to run, move slider
switch to the position indicated by O. Slide back to central(
