Temperature control operation
Caution:
Possible damage to the device
If the ventilation openings are not kept free, the motors for the pump
and compressor could overheat.
Never cover the ventilation grille. Ensure that there is always a
distance of 40 cm between the device and wall or other devices.
✓
All peripheral devices are securely connected and the refrigerant can circulate freely.
✓
The fill level indicator for the thermal fluid lies between the minimum and maximum
levels.
➜
Switch the device ON.
✓
A signal tone sounds.
✓
The software version will be displayed, followed by the current temperature.
✓
If the fill level is sufficient, “StbY” for standby operation will flash for around 4
seconds on the display.
➜
Press the confirmation button “Select”.
✓
The pump for the thermal fluid circuit will start.
✓
Depending on the ambient temperature and the temperature setpoint, the cooling
unit will start up after a short time.
✓
As soon as the cooling unit is active, the blue cooling LED will light up.
➜
Monitor the fill level indicator and refill the device with thermal fluid if necessary.
Caution:
Possible damage to the device
If you set the chiller to cool down to a minus temperature, it is
possible that the thermal fluid will freeze.
If you want to cool the device down to minus temperatures, ensure
that you are using an appropriate thermal fluid.(also see chapter
“Spare parts and accessories, Accessories”)
If there is a large difference in temperature between the chiller and
the external consumer, the temperature drop between the two devices
could be so high that it will not be possible to maintain the cooling
output.
In this case, increase or decrease the setpoint for the cooling tempera
-
ture accordingly or ensure that there is a lower volume of items to be
cooled in your external consumer.
