9. Troubleshooting

Follow the recommended troubleshooting procedures to avoid a potentially
hazardous situation.
A table for troubleshooting possible problems is provided below.

Axis fault
indicator is
illuminated A motor is stopped or disabled. Check the software settings
and ensure the motor is enabled. Check any devices providing
an inhibit signal to the Inhibit input.
A motor has reached a table limit. Reposition the table and
verify that the limit switches are not engaged.

5 V indicator is
not illuminated There is no power to the product. Check power cord and power
connection. Check the replaceable fuse.
Internal electrical problem. Contact a HEIDENHAIN service
technician.
Product exhibits
degraded
performance Contact a HEIDENHAIN service technician
Product has been
dropped or the
exterior has been
damaged Contact a HEIDENHAIN service technician
Liquid is spilled
