To seal the roof hole, and to divert rain and snow
from the vent system:
• Attach a flashing to the roof using nails, and use
a non-hardening mastic around the edges of the
flashing base where it meets the roof.
• Attach a storm collar over the flashing joint to form
a water-tight seal. Place non-hardening mastic
around the joint, between the storm collar and
the vertical pipe.
• Slide the termination cap over the end of the vent
pipe and rotate the pipe clockwise 1/4 turn.

Pour assurer l’étanchéité du toit et protéger le conduit
de la pluie et de la neige:
• Fixer un solin sur le toit avec des clous et un
mastic ne durcissant pas le long de la base du
solin en contact avec le toit.
• Fixer un collier d’orage sur le solin pour le rendre
étanche. Mettre du mastic ne durcissant pas autour
du joint entre le collier et le conduit vertical.
• Glisser la mitre sur l’extrémité du conduit et
tourner le conduit d’un quart de tour dans le
sens horaire.
