C. Maintenance
WARNING! Risk of Shock!
Before performing any main-
tenance or repair to the power vent assembly, make sure
electrical power is disconnected to the fireplace.
1. Vent System: Inspect all components and connections
annually. Replace, seal, or tighten pipe connections if
necessary.
2. Motor: The fan motor bearings are sealed and no further
lubrication is necessary. To access the motor, pressure
switch or pressure sense tube, refer to Section 5.D.

tenance or repair to the power vent assembly, make sure
electrical power is disconnected to the fireplace.
NOTE:
Retain all fasteners for use in the reassembly
process. Follow instructions in reverse order to assemble.
1. Remove top cap and set aside. See Figure 5.1.
2. Note that the light gray (-) port has the teflon tubing
attached. Remove Teflon tubing from pressure switch.
See Figure 5.2.
3. Remove the 2 wires from the pressure switch. See
Figure 5.3.
