4. REMOTE CONTROL
• If a remote control is used, the receiver cannot be placed
under the burner. If possible, place the receiver outside
the combustion chamber.
• If the receiver must be placed in the combustion chamber,
the protective heat shield MUST be used. See Figure 4.
• Position receiver on left side of gas log set (opposite the
pilot). Place protective heat shield over receiver. See
Figure 5.

3. AIR SHUTTER SETTINGS.
This appliance has an adjustable air shutter (which con-
trols the primary air) factory set for the minimum vertical
vent run. If your installation has more than the minimum
required vertical vent length, adjustment of the air shutter
may be necessary to obtain optimal

ame appearance.
This should be adjusted by a quali

ed installer at the
time of installation.
