Zone operation
When a thermostat calls for heat or cool:
•
Corresponding zone output will activate
•
System pump will activate (not when using
dampers). There is a 60 second delay when using
zone valves or actuators.
•
The demands outputs (LT/CD or HT/CD) will close
to signal the heating/cooling equipment to fire. Ex.
Boiler, heat pump
•
Fancoil output will activate (only if thermostat is set
for 2nd stage/fancoil).
Post purge and exercising
When the thermostat stops calling for heat or cool the
zone will post purge for 60 seconds. Each zone output
is energized for 60 seconds every 72 hours to prevent
pump seizure.
Geo Mode
When setting the zone control for Geo Mode, this will
change the demand outputs from a low and high
temperature to a heat or cool demand. Heat demand
to be wired to HT/HD and Cool demand to LT/CD.
