Cooking Pot Maintenance
The cooking pot may crack if it is not handled correctly, handle it with care! If you
do not follow these instructions it may result in damage to the product, which could
lead to injury or property damage.

Always wear oven mitts or similar when you handle hot ceramic goods. If not, it
could lead to burns to your hands or other areas.
–
Do not place the cooking pot directly on a countertop, as it may mark or scorch
the countertop. Use a pan trivet.
–
Do not place the cooking pot on a hob, underneath a grill, in an oven or in a
microwave oven as it is likely to crack.
–
Do not knock utensils against the rim of the cooking pot to dislodge food, as it
will scratch the pot.
–
Do not use the cooking pot to pop popcorn, caramelise sugar or make toffee.
–
Do not try to use or repair any pot or lid that is chipped, cracked, or broken.
–
Do not use the cooking pot to reheat or store food.
–
Always place food in the cooking pot at room temperature.
–
Do not heat up the cooking pot when it is empty, as it may crack.
–
Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or any object that will scratch the
cooking pot or accessories.
–
The cooking pot is dishwasher safe.
Glass Lid Maintenance
–
Keep the lid away from any grill, microwave oven, hob, hot oven or air outlet
from an oven. If the lid has been left in any of the above locations you should
not use it again, even if there are no signs of damage.

If the lid is chipped, cracked or scratched, discard it!

Let the lid cool down on a dry, heat-resistant surface before handling it. Do not
place the lid on a wet surface as this could cause it to crack or shatter.

Always wear oven mitts or similar when you handle the hot lid! To avoid burns
from escaping steam, always tilt the cover away from your hands and face.

The glass lid is dishwasher safe.
Warning!
Always handle the lid with care, as it could cause injury if it breaks.
Caution!
The lid may shatter if it is exposed to direct heat or severe temp-
erature changes. Chips, cracks or deep scratches may also weaken the lid.
Cleaning
If there are stubborn stains on the cooking pot you can clean it with non-abrasive
cleansers or by applying a paste of bicarbonate of soda with a soft cloth. Water
marks or mineral deposits can be removed by wiping with vinegar, or by pouring a
small amount of vinegar into the pot and letting it soak. After cleaning, wash
the pot in warm water and detergent. Rinse it out and allow it to dry.
