Plug the connector from the sup-
plied 12v DC power supply unit
into the Power supply socket on
the DEC2000-t Plug the other end
into the mains power socket, and
switch on only after you have
made sure that all connections
have been made.
f) Powering UP your DEC2000-t for the first time
i. When you have switched on the mains, the green
light on the front of the box will light up.
ii. If this does not happen a red light appears on the
DEC22000-t instead. Press the RED button locat-
ed on the Remote control to power up the
DEC2000-t
iii. Please note that if you only have an RF connec-
tion to your TV - you will have to tune your TV to
the box output on a spare TV channel. (See “Connecting the DEC2000
to your TV set via RF cable”).
g) The Welcome Screen and scanning for channels
Once the unit has been turned on the welcome screen should appear
which directs you to "press 'OK' to start". The 'OK' button is located on the
remote control. Scanning for channels will begin automatically.
