3.2.3. Humidity, sun exposure, warmth
Protect the device against humidity, dripping and splash-water. Never place the
receiver in the proximity of extreme heat and do not expose to direct sun light.
3.2.4. Mains voltage
Operate the receiver only at a mains voltage of 230 V. The device may be plugged
into the mains and switched on, only after the connections with the aerial and the
television set have been made. Always unplug the receiver completely from the
mains outlet before connecting or disconnecting anything.
3.2.5. Grounding
Please ensure the parabolic aerial is grounded correctly.
3.2.6. Weather Conditions
Switch the DEC 1000-t off in the event of a thunderstorm by disconnecting the power
switch at the back of the device or by using the remote control power button. This
also applies to those devices, which are connected with the receiver.
3.2.7. Wiring
The incorrect wiring and connection of cables can lead to operational disturbances or
defects of the device.
3.3. Cleaning your receiver
Always unplug the unit from mains before cleaning the unit.
Do not use solvents of any kind to clean the unit, only use a soft damp cloth.
