Pumping tube assembly not positioned properly. Readjust position of pumping tube assembly.
Make sure bottom of pumping tube assembly is
positioned in center of the tank inside percolation
well.
Water level too low.
Make sure a minimum of 2 liters (0.5 gallons) of
water is in unit before plugging in or operating.
Heating element(s) defective.

This unit must be serviced by trained and qualified
personnel only. Service by unqualified personnel may lead
to electric shock or burn.
WARNING
ELECTRIC ShOCK hAzARD: Turn power switch OFF,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any maintenance or cleaning.
WARNING
Resetting the Thermostat
If the unit runs dry and/or overheats during operation, use the
following procedure to reset the safety thermostat.
1. Turn off and uplug the unit.
2. Allow the unit to cool.
3. Empty any remaining liquid from
the tank.
4. Rinse the tank with cold water.
5. Press the thermostat reset
button on the bottom of the unit.
6. Fill the unit with cold water and
follow the “Heating Water”
procedure in the OPERATION section of this manual to
test operation.

Error Codes
The TEMPERATuRE display may show an error code if the unit
goes into fault mode. Error codes will show on the display as the
letter “e” followed by a number, such as “
e3
”. The “e” indicates
“error” and the number indicates the mode the unit was in when
the error occured.
If the TEMPERATuRE display shows an error code, the most
likely cause is a defective temperature probe. Contact a local
Hatco Dealer for assistance (refer to the SERVICE
INFORMATION section in this manual).
