Preparations
1. Read the entire user manual before you use the e-bike.
2. Prepare the rechargeable battery and the charger for the
start-up of your e-bike.
Rechargeable battery
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
If the rechargeable battery is not fully charged before
start-up, the nominal charge of the rechargeable battery
will decrease.
• Before start-up, charge the rechargeable battery until
the charging process automatically ends (see chapter
“Operation » Rechargeable battery » Charging the
rechargeable battery”).
1. Remove the rechargeable battery from the holder on the
rack (see chapter “Operation » Rechargeable battery
» Removing the rechargeable battery”).
2. Remove the protective foils on the housing and, if appli-
cable, on the electrical contacts on the bottom end of the
rechargeable battery.
Charger
1. Read the information on the nameplate of the charger.
• If the information does not correspond to the voltage sup-
ply, do not use the charger.
2. Before you connect the charger to the voltage supply,
read the chapter “Operation » Rechargeable battery
» Charging the rechargeable battery”.
