TAPs
TAPs are provided to help the maintainer isolate faults using procedures other than simple unit swapping. The
TAP begins with a simple description of the fault or symptom. Refer to Table 6-3 for a list of TAPs.
When applicable, begin by performing the listed initial checks. These are checks that can be performed without
the use of tools or test equipment. If the initial checks do not solve the problem, continue by performing the
procedure itself. If the problem still exists after completing the TAP, proceed to the troubleshooting index. Refer
to Paragraph 6.3.2.
