Converting from 10Base-T

 

to

 

T1/E1 

1.

Turn the unit off.

2.

Remove the fuse and set it aside.

3.

Disconnect the Data, Antenna, and Power connections.

4.

Place the radio on a flat, clean, static-free work surface. 

5.

Remove the 8 cover screws. Set them and the cover aside.

6.

Remove the 10Base-T card. Wrap it in a static-free bag and store it 
in a safe place.

7.

Aurora 2400: Install jumpers on P4 and P5 for the modem. (Refer 
to Table 1 for strapping.)

Aurora 5800: Install jumpers on P10 and P11 for the modem. 
(Refer to Table 2 for strapping.)

8.

Reinstall the cover. Insert the screws and tighten them.

9.

Connect the 10Base-T Data, Antenna, and Power cables.

10.

Connect the T1/E1 Interface cable.

11.

Reinstall the fuse and turn the unit on.

End of procedure.
