Installing MediaCenter components
Install MediaCenter power supplies and drives before connecting the system.
Installing power supplies
Install both power supplies to take advantage of the 1+1 redundant configuration.
1. Unpack a power supply unit.
2. Using the handle, insert the power supply module into the power supply bay.
3. Push the power supply module into the bay until it locks into place.
4. Repeat the previous steps for the second power supply.
Installing the drives
Use only Harmonic-supplied drives.
1. Unpack a disk drive.
