Connect devices
1. Use the cables enclosed to connect devices, that require 9V DC
voltage, to the 9V outputs 1 - 8 (
q
).
Attention! The unit provides a total of 500mA. All devices
connected to the 9V outputs share the current. Never overload
the unit!
2. Please note the polarity of the sockets:
outer contact
= „
+
“ (positive)
middle contact = „
—
“ (negative)
3. Use one of the cables enclosed to connect devices, that require
12V DC voltage, to the 12V output (
e
). The maximum current
provided by this output is 250mA.
4. Use one of the cables enclosed to connect devices, that require
12V AC voltage, to the 12V~ output (
r
). The maximum current
provided by this output is 250mA.
5. We recommend to use the two coloured cables with the 12V
outputs, and the black cables with the 9V outputs.
This will ensure clear arrangement and prevent the destruction
of connected devices by unsuitable voltage supply.
To change the fuse
In case of an overload the units built-in fuse will blow. The fuse is
integrated in the power cord socket (
u
). Replace a blown fuse as
follows:
1. First disconnect the unit from the mains by removing the power
cord from the power cord socket.
2. To change the fuse, carefully stick a small screwdriver behind
the tab of the fuse holder and pull it out.
3. Take out the blown fuse and replace it by a new one with same
specs (250V T100mA).
4. Move the fuse holder back into the power cord socket until it
clicks into position.
