POL FITTING

INSTALLATION

LIQUID PROPANE

1.  Place the Firepit Burner System on a level surface.
2.  Go to page 2 of the instructions and review the boxed
area for proper clearance guidelines.
3.  Make sure tank valve is in the full OFF position.
4.  Check tank valve features to ensure it has proper
external mating threads.  (Tank Valve Marked:  USE
WITH TYPE 1)
5.  Inspect hose shipped with unit for damage.  Never
attempt to use damaged or plugged equipment.  See
your local LP dealer for repairs.
6.  After inspecting the LP hose shipped with the unit,
connect the 46-6-6 on the hose to the 41S-6 on the
burner system.  Tighten fittings using 2 wrenches.
7.  When connecting the regulator assembly to the tank
valve, hand tighten the POL Fitting on the hose to the
female fitting on the tank.

trip over it or in areas where the hose may be subject to
accidental damage.
9.Open the tank valve fully (counter-clockwise).  Turn the
on/off valve at the unit on slowly to the on position and
use a soap and water solution to check all connections
for leaks before attempting to light the appliance.  If a
leak is found, turn the tank valve off and do not use the
appliance until repairs can be made.
10.  Proceed with log and cinder installation.
11.

Once log installation is complete slowly turn the
