Inspection, Maintenance, and Cleaning

  Procedures not specifically explained in this manual  

must be performed only by a qualified technician. 
Any guard or other protective device removed for servicing must be replaced before operation.

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION: 
Close the valve on the propane tank, allow the product to cool for at least 30 minutes, and 
disconnect the propane tank before performing any procedure in this section.

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM TOOL FAILURE: 
Do not use damaged equipment.  If abnormal noise or vibration 
occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.

1. 

BEFORE EACH USE,

 inspect the general 

condition of the product.  Check for:
•  check all gas fittings for tightness
•  loose hardware
•  misalignment or binding of moving parts
•  cracked or broken parts 
•  any other condition that may 

affect its safe operation

•  do a leak test using soapy water –

refer to number 2 on page 9.

AFTER USE,

 wipe external surfaces 

of the tool with clean cloth.

3. 

STORE

 this product in a clean, dry location out of 

reach of children.  If storing indoors, first shut off and 
remove the propane tank and leave it outdoors.
