Adapter Replacement

When processing food, if something hard enters the grinder and stops the accessory from
moving, it can damage many internal parts. To prevent overload damage, a plastic Adapter
gear is used between the motor and the accessory. When a jam occurs, the Adapter may
break as a safety measure. Extra Adapters are provided with your machine. Follow these
instructions to replace it.

1.

Remove the accessory housing to expose the Adapter (see illustrations below).

2.

Use the Adapter Hook or bent paper clip, and insert it into the Adapter slot.

3.

Pull the Adapter off the Worm Drive.

4.

Replace the damaged Adapter with a new one.

5.

Replace the accessory housing.
