11.2 Remote Control via USB
1. Connect the device
Connect the instrument with your PC using a USB cable.
2. Search for device resource
Start up Keysight IO and the software will automatically search for the instrument resource
currently connected to the PC. You can also click
Rescan
to search for the resources.
3. View the device resource
The resource found will appear under the directory, and the model number and USB interface
information of the instrument will also be displayed.
For example, HDG2102B(USB0::0x049F::0x505B::CN1826003000125::0::INSTR)
4. Control the instrument remotely
Click “Send Commands To This Instrument” to open Keysight interactive IO interface.
You
can send commands and read data.
