Dishwasher operation
1. Open the dishwasher door just a crack
initially and wait until the spraying arm
has come to a stop and the steam has
dispersed.
Then open the dishwasher door com-
pletely. When you open the dishwasher
door, the dishwasher programme is inter-
rupted.
2. Add the dishes.
3. Close the dishwasher door.
The programme will automatically contin-
ue to run again.
A signal tone will sound at regular
intervals while the wash programme is
paused.
Cycle end
After the programme has ended, an acoustic
signal will sound lasting 8 seconds.
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
If you open the dishwasher door, hot
steam will come out.

When opening the dishwasher door,
always use just the handle. Maintain
a safe distance from the appliance
in order to avoid water/steam which
may escape.
■
Keep children and pets away from
the appliance when opening the dish-
washer door.
Trip hazard!
An open dishwasher door can easily be-
come a trip hazard.
■
Only leave the dishwasher door slight-
ly open after unloading.
Changing the dishwashing
programme
You can interrupt an active dishwasher pro-
gramme at any point and start a new one.
However, do not forget to add extra dish-
washer detergent if the programme has al-
ready been running for a longer period and
the cover of the dishwasher detergent com-
partment is already open.
1. Press the button (6) to interrupt the cur-
rent dishwashing programme.
The colon in the programme duration indi-
cator (9) will stop flashing.
2. If required, add extra dishwasher deter-
gent.
3. Press and hold the
P
button (4) until the
programme duration indicator shows this:

4. Then select the new programme using
the
P
button and additional extra options
as previously described.
5. Press the button (6).
The newly selected dishwashing pro-
gramme will start.
Adding dishes
You can add more dishes even if the dish-
washer programme is already running.
In this case, the current dishwashing pro-
gramme should only have been running for
a short time, as only then can the additional
dishes be cleaned.
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
If you open the dishwasher door during
operation, there is a risk that hot water
will spray out of it.
